Tactile Tiles
Exclusive to SensoryPlus, this comprehensive collection of tactile tiles provides limitless combinations of texture, temperature and colour. Touch is an often-overlooked aspect of sensory development within a Multi-Sensory room; the striking visual effects of bubble tubes and projectors often attract the most attention, but these tiles will open up the power of a varied tactile experience.
This collection, forged using a myriad of different techniques, materials and ideas, brings together surfaces that encourage exploration and comparison. Each tile offers a contrast between warm and cold, rough and smooth or soft and hard, facilitating interaction. Available individually, or as entire sets, the tiles are uniform in size and represent a marvellous addition to any Multi-Sensory room; whether fixed, in a moveable floor frame or as individual tiles.
Tactile tiles can be wall mounted if the tiles are secured in the frame and can be mixed and matched from any range.

3D FLOOR TILES
Tactile 3D Shape Floor Tiles utilise the durability of vac-form technology to create a series of bright, interesting surfaces for users, young or old, to explore. Equally effective as sound makers, the different patterns encourage exploration, understanding of shape, form and colour. All surfaces have the same cool, smooth texture.
TECHNO FLOOR TILES
Combining contemporary materials to create distinctive and contrasting tactile experiences, with interesting shape and form, the tiles facilitate comparison work. Durable and studiously specified, the tiles will prove a robust addition to any environment.
WOODEN FLOOR TILES
Nine distinct designs, any combination of the different designs would create a stimulating, eye-catching feature. Encourages exploration, understanding of shape and patterns. All tile sets are interchangeable within the frames specified.
ORGANIC FLOOR TILES
The richest tactile experience of all, the Organic titles combine vivid contrasts in surface to help users understand the variety of sensation created by different textured surfaces. From grainy wood and faux leather to slate and fleece – the contrasts between warm, cold, soft, hard, rough and smooth are stark and stimulating.
