For many conditions where people may be at risk of injury from challenging or destructive behaviour, or a tendency to self-harm, a custom built safe space can prove invaluable. Designed as a room within a room and built of industrial strength material, combined with a thick, padded floor, they significantly reduce the danger of harm from hard surfaces such as walls and furniture.

Promoting play and leisure with and for disabled adults and children
Providers of consulting resources via a network of experts who are specialists in various aspects of special education for very special learners (PMLD and SLD), both children and adults.
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation exists to demonstrate that individuals with severe learning disabilities who are described as having challenging behaviour can enjoy normal life opportunities when their behaviour is properly understood and appropriately managed, and to support parents and carers through education and information to enable this to happen.
Portage is a home-visiting educational service for pre-school children with additional support needs and their families.

Chris Barson founded Positive About Autism in 2009. Prior to that Chris was External Training Manager for the National Autistic Society. Chris has a long involvement with disability and autism. ICIS was commissioned by West Sussex County Council's Aiming High for Disabled Children programme to develop an engaging and accessible information portal. The REACH OUT website contains a comprehensive information directory covering a broad range of topics, a calendar of local advice on education, money matters, transition, short breaks, respite, equipment, support groups and much more. The site also contains an innovative resource called 'COMMUNIC8' which consists of imaginative techniques and tools which explore the creative ways we can communicate with each other.
The site provides vital information in one place for young people and their families, empowering them to access the support and advice they might need. The website is an evolving resource and want everyone to contribute by sharing their experiences, ideas and projects through various mediums.
